Finalists in John Logie Baird Awards 2008

Zone Fit Ltd was made one of the last four finalists under the category of “Early Stage Impact through Innovation” at the recent prestigious John Logie Baird Awards.

Some of Scotland’s finest inventors and innovators gathered on Wednesday, 10th December at the Gala Dinner held at the Glasgow Science Centre. Distinguished speakers included Malcolm Baird (son of John Logie Baird), Doug Richards (BBC Dragon’s Den) and Charan Gill MBE (The Curry King!).

Entrants had to initially pitch their business model to a regional panel. If successful, a business mentor was assigned to help prepare the pitch to a national panel. The event was organised by The GO group and their partners - Biggart Baillie LLP, LINC Scotland, Glasgow City Council, NESTA, University of Glasgow Venture Navigator, Glasgow Science Centre.
